Self-esteem: The Key To Happiness

If you do not nurture your self-esteem, you will not achieve happiness, either alone or with someone else. To achieve balance in your environment, you must love and respect yourself first.
Self-esteem: The key to happiness

Self-esteem is the appreciation or consideration we have for ourselves. The death of a family member, heartache, or other situations that hit us hard can cause our self-esteem to decline. That is the key to happiness.

But just because it falters does not mean that it is completely destroyed, as it happens in certain situations where everything is beyond our control.

Lack of decision making, unresolved issues, and the building up of emotions can all be factors that lead to a huge sense of unhappiness that stems from low self-esteem.

Increase your self-esteem. That is the key to happiness

Self-esteem is the key to happiness

The key to happiness is not just about finding peace by realizing all the good around us. Everything that makes us feel comfortable inside and in harmony with everything and everyone around us.

Instead, our beliefs, problems that we have had since childhood, and the blows that life gives us can cause our self-esteem to plummet.

What makes our self-esteem so low is that we occasionally take refuge in a victim role and sing lamentations.  Unconsciously, we seek out our safety zone for help.

Suddenly we put our lives on pause. We do not live our lives to the fullest. We are surrounded by fear, uncertainty overtakes us, and time flies past us as if it were worth nothing.

But it is ourselves who attach no value to anything. We hurt ourselves because we believe it is the truth and behave in a way that harms our well-being.

How many times have you been in a toxic relationship that you did not know how to end? How many times have people humiliated you and you just stood there not knowing what to do?

The fear, the doubt, the shame, thoughts like “is it appropriate or not”, “how will the other person take it”, “what will become of my life” or “I can not live without ..” are the type of thoughts that sabotage our self-esteem and makes us feel bad about fashion.

Put yourself first

If there is one thing that significantly affects your self-esteem, it is believing that you are not enough. Knowing your worth or worth makes you think of the needs of others before you think of yourself.

Others deserve everything, but you do not ; you should love others but you do not deserve to be loved… this type of thinking makes you wait for others to give you what you do not give yourself.

When you do not prioritize yourself and push your needs aside, you suffer. Your self-esteem hits bottom, and with that attitude, you can not lift yourself up.

It is possible that you think you are selfish when you prioritize yourself, when you think of your own well-being before you think of others.

But if you are not ok, then how do you help others get ok? At the expense of your own happiness? By sacrificing yourself? What do you achieve by it?

No one will take care of you, love you or value you as you deserve if you do not do it yourself first.

Most of all, because you can not give something you do not have. Every time you love, it will be empty because you can not give something you do not give to yourself, because you simply do not have it!

Do you want to choose to be happy?

If you do not love yourself there is no one else who will

Most problems that arise in our relationships, those that become a cycle that we can not see a way out of, can have something to do with our self-esteem.

Therefore, we must pay special attention to it, because if we feel bad, it means that there is something inside that we need to correct.

We cannot wait for others to do it for us, or ignore the fact that we pour care into others, give them what we do not give ourselves.

This is suicide.

We will feed our sadness, empty ourselves and transform ourselves into a black hole that absorbs all negativity around us.

Your self-esteem is the key to happiness, but to achieve it, you really need to see yourself, prioritize yourself, value yourself, and heal yourself for everything that causes you harm.

There is no need to pour care into others when you are not pouring into yourself. You are the most important person you will spend the rest of your life with.

Take care of yourself, because if you do not do it, no one else will do it for you. Good self-esteem is the key to happiness.
